Bum bum cream and spf?

I‘m wondering how and when to use the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream, if it’s smells like summer but in summer I always have spf on my body when I leave the house. So my creams sit at home unused, because the main reason for me buying them was the smell. Do you think I can layer SPF and then the cream? Or will it impact the spf in some way? It’s so frustrating 😭
