U.S. beach hotel / resort recommendations for honeymoon

I'm in the U.S. looking for a warm-weather beach hotel or resort that feels nice enough for a honeymoon but is not over $600 a night. No idea if this is a reasonable wishlist, but I figured some good ideas could come out of asking! Most recently I've been looking at Florida.

We do NOT want to go to: North Carolina, South Carolina, Hawaii

Must have: Good food at the hotel or nearby, or at least not mediocre food that is way overpriced; beach access; modern enough build / utilities so that we don't have issues with cooling the room or plumbing; as close to a refined feel as possible (doesn't have to be super high-end, but clean and tasteful); good service

Nice to have: Peaceful surroundings (i.e. not a ginormous high-rise next to a busy road); things to do at the hotel (a bar, coffee shop, live music, that kind of thing); spa services would be amazing; we are definitely open to a child-free hotel if that is a thing

Thank you!
