Travel Questions for Italy

Hi everyone,

I am planning a Honeymoon for this October and we are planning on traveling to Italy. I have been to Italy before but I wanted to hear thoughts on my travel plans. We are only going to there for a week.

Our current plan:

Arrive in Florence on Monday late morning/early afternoon. (spend the night)

Spend Tuesday morning/afternoon in Florence and train to Rome. (spend night in Rome)(we want to get a blessing from the pope early Wednesday morning.)

Wednesday-Saturday Rome

Depart from Rome on Sunday morning.

The only thing we would consider adding is traveling to the Naples/Amalfi/Capri area of the coast but I am not sure if it make sense to travel down for a day or so and then travel back. with all our bags it may seem like a pain.

Curious if anyone else has done something similar to this? I am sure we will be fine spending the rest of the week in Rome if it came to that. it is a beautiful city.
