Any chance of claiming an EyeEm payout I missed the deadline for?

I had an account on EyeEm and was aware that the platform closed earlier this year, so when I just saw a bunch of emails about an outstanding payout of a handful of dollars I was suspicious. I checked and it‘s genuine, a bunch of people got this. Unfortunately, it went to my deadname email address which I don‘t check anymore except for once every half a year or so, that‘s why I missed those emails until now, and the deadline to claim the money on Paypal was a week ago. Is there any chance to still claim that payout? It‘s really not about the money, more about the principle.
