Any tips about San Blas?

I am looking for a trip to San Blas in August with my boyfriend. I have searched for multiple day pack on several sites, but the options are limited (I'm looking for a private tour that doesn't involve a shared catamaran/large boat, nor sleeping in bungalows on the island). I want to have some privacy and chilling outside of the guided tours. Could someone share some tips pls? What was your experience (if you have already gone before on these islands)?
