Any idea when Thailand will start implementing the new visa rules?

I've been traveling with my family through SE Asia during the last 10 months and we are planning to get to Thailand (already bought tickets) for almost 60 days and then we have a flight back home (was already booked). I'm trying to understand if we will be affected by the new visa rules or we will have some luck with the dates and it will be implemented after we arrive to Thailand.
