First off, thank you for viewing let’s jump right in lol.

I have a wedding to attend this weekend for my husband’s younger brother and his soon-to-be wife. The wedding is in Texas at a Catholic church, with the reception being held at another church shortly after. The dress code from the invitation says, “Semi-formal. Modesty encouraged in the church.”

I’ve narrowed my options down to two outfits.

Option 1 is a black pearl-detailed jumpsuit. It’s form-fitting, but overall very appropriate. I actually wear it to my own church fairly often. I can also dress it up more than what’s shown in the photo, and if needed I can use fashion tape to close up the neckline a bit more. * those are pictures of me wearing it prior*

Option 2 is a green lace dress that I wore when I was crowned Ms. Nevada Prime 2023. Originally I thought this was the better choice, but then I remembered it has a sheer lace panel in the front, spaghetti straps, and a slit on the side. Now I’m wondering if it may be a little too revealing for a Catholic church wedding, even though it’s elegant. * picture of me wearing it prior and picture of model wearing for full dress since sash is covering problem area*

At this point I’m leaning toward the jumpsuit being the safer and more appropriate option, but I’d genuinely love outside opinions. Which would you choose for this dress code and setting?
