Need help choosing travel destination

Hi! We’re a group of 4 girls in our mid 20s and plan to travel for ~10 days in July. We are extremely indecisive about which country to go to for our trip, but we would ideally want a place that’s budget-friendly (our maximum would be approx. 2000-2500 USD) and full of activities/adventure.

Here are some of the countries we’re considering, so please deinfluence or reinfluence us (or if you have any other suggestions):

- Peru: We were thinking of doing the 5-day Salkantay Trek with either KB Adventure or Salkantay Trekking. However, only Circuit 1 is still available. Also, we would only have about a month to train and get the proper hiking gear.

- Costa Rica: We love the idea of a rainforest/nature/beach moment, but we heard that it is expensive and inconvenient to travel without a car.

- Guatemala: Everyone has been raving about Guatemala recently, especially about the Volcán Acatenango hike and how affordable it is. However, we heard that the hike is pretty strenuous. We would also only have about a month to train and get the proper hiking gear.

- Brazil: We are young and single, so the idea of a beach/party moment in Rio de Janeiro is also very appealing.

- Dominican Republic: The beaches look amazing. However, we wouldn’t want to do an all-inclusive since we did a Cancun trip recently.

- Colombia: The beaches, culture, and food look amazing. We would probably stick with Medellín and Cartagena.
