Travel destinations for small friend groups?
We’re only 2-3 guys, 18 year olds finishing high school soon, all have just about $1000. We prefer to spend less time in a good city instead of more time in a cheap one. We’re Jordanians so tickets to the Americas and Oceania would cost our whole budget, visas are a bit of a barrier too. Though, Italy will start providing visas online, so this is a big plus, with the cheap tickets. But We’re not much leaning towards history. While I know Italy has huge natural resources, but these are hard to access, especially with our budget, we won’t be able to afford a 5 day hike in the Dolomites. 1 day hikes would be great.
To give some context/perspective: I most enjoy nature, especially beaches and hikes. My friends do like things such as waterparks, but that’s like a single day and they also want hangouts in nature. Don’t take our age as an indicator of wanting nightlife though, we don’t drink or party. We all like nice architecture and wandering in urban spaces, but if there wasn’t any nature or “adventure” we wouldn’t go.
TL;DR: we’re 3 male 18 year olds, would like hikes and beaches, not much interested in nightlife. Budget is $1000 each and we prefer to put it on a “more fun” city for a couple nights instead of going for a budget trip for weeks. Good to be easily available and “beginner friendly.”
Thank you!
