Is there a way to import data from excel into existing pdf catalog? I need to add pricing

I have been given the task of adding pricing to our existing catalogs. I have been doing this manually using a website but with thousands of products it is taking forever and I have to have all catalogs updated by 6/1. Is there a way I can match the item numbers from excel with the item numbers in the pdf catalog and import all the pricing?
