Jordan and Syria trip

I am planning to visit Jordan for 10 days including a 2day trip to Damascus in those days as well. I am planning to travel back to my home country (Greece) from Amman, so the transportation from Amman to Damascus and vice versa will be done by bus. Can I combine Jordan pass and double- entry visa? Also can I get my visa for Syria on arrival and do I need to communicate with a Syrian travel agency to get a security clearance also? Any information will be helpful! (recommendations about accomodation, restaurants, hiking etc)
