Went to the Philippines for 5 days this May

My friend and I went to the Philippines earlier this month. We stayed for 5 days and had been to Cebu, Dumaguete, Dauin, Apo island, and Siquijor. Pretty much just islands, beaches and diving the whole trip. Honestly it's one of the most relaxing trips I've been on.

My favorite part was day 3 we went diving on Apo island. I've dived a few times before but never seen anything like this. The first four pictures are what I caught when diving there with my go ultra. Within maybe ten minutes there was a sea turtle just sitting on the reef in front of me. Then a few more further along. By the end I almost lost count haha. They genuinely do not care that you are there, they just go their way while you hover next to them. I was super surprised. The reef is also in good condition. There are lots coral and fish, and visibility was great. I think Apo island is underrated, and I'd recommend if you love diving and want to see some sea turtles.

The last two pictures are from Siquijor and shot by my phone. Honestly I didn't expect much, but love that it's not crowded, and the sea there gives me a really calm vibe. It's also super clean. We spent few hours just sitting on the beach, loved it.

Already been thinking about where to dive next. I plan to try another spot in Southeast Asia. Any recommendations are welcome:)
