No zip ties allowed.
Leaving Beirut today with two animals in crates, I learned that you cannot take zip ties / cable ties on board.
I had a packet of zip ties to secure the flight crates. Didn't even know that I should have put them in my checked baggage.
Security screener lady took them.
Not a huge loss, but in my 30+ years and 32 countries, I have never given it a thought.
Huh. Learn something new every day, as they say.
