Grad Trip Suggestions

Hi everyone,

I’m a 22M graduating in April 2027, and I have dual citizenship (Canada and the EU). I’m hoping to do a grad trip for about 1.5 to 2 months, leaving from Western Canada, but I’m not sure where to go.

In 2025, I went on exchange and spent 1 month in Thailand, 5 months in Australia, and finished with 2 weeks in Japan. For this next trip, I’ll mostly be solo, although a friend may join me for 2 to 3 weeks.

I’m really into beaches, nature, history, food, and a good drinking culture. I’ve saved up a decent travel budget, but I’d still like to stay in hostels so I can meet people along the way.

If anyone has destination suggestions or route ideas, I’d love to hear them. Thanks!
