Beyond the Skyline - Hong Kong

Most people picture Hong Kong as a city of skyscrapers, but some of my favorite moments were far from the skyline. These photos were taken across Lantau Island and Hong Kong Island, from the stilt-house fishing village of Tai O and the rugged slopes of Lantau Peak to the serene halls of Po Lin Monastery and the playful atmosphere of Ocean Park. What made the day memorable wasn't any single landmark; it was how quickly the scenery changed. Within hours and days, I went from coastal villages and mountain views to ornate temples and a steaming bowl of beef noodle soup, experiencing a side of Hong Kong that felt both deeply traditional and full of surprises.
