My partner and I are heading to Europe for the first time this October.
We're based in Australia. Would love feedback from people who've done similar trips.

Itinerary
London (3 nights)
- Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, St James's Park, Buckingham Palace
- Borough Market for lunch
- West End for a show
- Hyde Park
- Tower of London + Tower Bridge
- Dinner at Dishoom
Rome (3 nights)
- Vatican Museums + Sistine Chapel
- St Peter's Basilica + dome climb
- Colosseum + Roman Forum + Palatine Hill (combined ticket)
- Trevi Fountain, Pantheon
Florence (3 nights)
- Uffizi Gallery
- Ponte Vecchio
- Michelangelo's David
- Duomo
Venice (3 nights)
- St Mark's Basilica
- Doge's Palace
- Rialto Market
- Should we visit one of the islands?
- Gondola ride probably? feels touristy but also... when in Venice
Kufstein (3 nights)
Staying with my friends here. Probably will do some hiking
Vienna (3 nights)
Might stop at Salzburg on the way back from Kufstein
- Schönbrunn Palace + gardens
- Belvedere Palace
- Kunsthistorisches Museum
- Hofburg Palace + Sisi Museum
- St Stephen's Cathedral
- Apfelstrudel
Paris (4 nights)
- Eiffel Tower summit
- The Louvre
- Versailles day trip
- Notre-Dame
- Sainte-Chapelle
We are aware that this is a lot for a short amount of time but we are trying to see as much as possible. We will be back in the future and can do more in-depth trips then.
