Hair extensions, please help!

I’m considering getting hair extensions for more volume and length of course. I have a few questions

1) Does it make scalp smell more prominent or come sooner?

(I wash my hair every 2 days because I’m a hygiene freak and I always greet people with a hug. I can’t risk any scalp smell and that does start to appear at day two)

2) Is washing hair more difficult? I’m considering micro keratin bonds since it’s the most seamless, I think.

3) Did they damage your hair, and is the damage or breakage risk high if you get them professionally removed?
