Operator roaming📱vs eSIM?

I am from Colombia. In July, I will go for a walk to Spain and Europe with my mom on a tour of approximately 25 days. The travel consultant recommended that I hire international roaming. The problem is that my operator is Virgin Mobile Colombia and does not have direct roaming services, just an eSIM service with bad reviews, so I am considering using another eSIM service like Holafly or similar.
