Copenhagen trip

Hello everyone,

I'm planning a trip to Copenhagen and have put together a preliminary sightseeing itinerary. I'd love to get your thoughts and recommendations. I have 5–6 days off and would rather spend them traveling than staying in my home country, so I'm considering spending five days in Copenhagen in July. The hotel is in the city center.

Day 1: Nyhavn and Strøget

Day 2: Tivoli Gardens and City Hall Square

Day 3: The Little Mermaid, Kastellet, and Amalienborg Palace

Day 4: Christiansborg Palace, Rosenborg Castle, and possibly a canal tour

Day 5: Free time and shopping

Day 6: Hotel check-out and flight home

I've also noted a few other attractions that might be worth visiting, but l don't know if I'll have time to visit them:

National Museum of Denmark

Designmuseum Danmark

Copenhagen Opera House

Christiania

The Round Tower

Frederik's Church (Marble Church)

The Royal Library

Valbyparken

Would you recommend any of these, or are there other places I shouldn't miss? I'm open to any suggestions, whether they're popular attractions or local favorites.

I'd also appreciate recommendations for bars, clubs, or nightlife spots. I enjoy techno, house, disco, R&B, and hip-hop, so any venues with those kinds of music would be great. I've heard of ARCH, Hive Copenhagen, and Culture Box. Are they good or do you know any other?

Thanks in advance! 🫰🏻
