How long until the latisse side effects start happening?

Long story short, I ended up damaging the ends of my lashes. Which is unfortunate because my face shape really depends on the last few strands to be higher up. I really want to use latisse temporarily to fix it, but I'm so worried about the side effects it's driving me nuts. I already struggle with hyperpigmentation and deep set eyes, if any of these get slightly worse, I'm cooked. Like I said, I only want to use it temporarily so I'm hoping I can use it long enough to see some improvement before the bad things start to happen.
