Was this outfit okay for my night out?

I am trying out a new aesthetic which has been hard to adjust to without feeling a bit of discomfort. I originally felt okay about this fit but someone messaged me telling me it looked odd and interesting in a bad way, and icl it has definitely gotten to me.
