Fincantieri has signed an agreement of more than € 500 million with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd, joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, for building a third ultra-luxury cruise ship for the brand.

The first ship of the class, called Four Seasons I, was delivered a few months back, while the second ship is currently under construction and will enter service in 2028.

The third ship of the class will be built at Fincantieri’s Ancona Shipyard and is expected to be delivered in 2031.

The order of these ultra-luxury cruise ships confirms the growth of the ultra-high-end cruise segment. It also highlights the increasing demand for a new model of hospitality at sea based on highly personalised experiences.

This ship, like the lead vessel of the class, will have an all-suite concept in a residential style. It will be 207 m long and boast a gross tonnage of 34,000 tons. All rooms offer private terraces and outdoor areas for guests.

The CEO and general manager of Fincantieri, Pierroberto Folgiero, said that ‘Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings’ decision to expand the fleet with a third ship reflects the solidity of a vision in the industrial sector and confirms the appreciation for a concept that has successfully created a new segment combining luxury hospitality and advanced shipbuilding’.
