Ascites trying to decide whether I need to cull

4 year bird has water belly. I have drained the fluid a few times and it seemed to give relief but, not staying better. The thing that has me is that she droopy but, still walking around eating and drinking and it feels weird to cull a bird that is still birding. What are ya'll thoughts? I was considering doing after they all go to bed. I used to work on farms and most birds died, were culled immediately or we harvested them for meat before anything like this happened. We just spun their necks. I was gonna try the method i posted.
