Yachts! Beach Clubs! Sunsets! These Perfumes Practically Scream "Euro Summer"

I'll be honest, I've never actually had a "Euro Summer". Sure, I've had summer holidays in some beautiful European destinations, but I'm yet to hop from island to island, spending my days in designer shops, on yachts, at beach clubs and more. A girl can dream, though, right? However, whilst I'm not the best source of information when it comes to planning your own Euro Summer, one thing I am good at is finding the best perfumes that embody all those chic, holiday vibes in just one spritz.
I've spent the best part of my career testing some of the most sought-after summer perfumes on the market, and there is a handful of fragrances that I rely on time and time again to get me in the holiday spirit. Whether you're sailing through Greece, wandering the streets of Spain or partying it up in Ibiza, these scents are bound to be the perfect match.

Even if you've not got a trip on the horizon, these are the ideal perfumes to help bring out your yacht-hopping alter-ego. So, what are you waiting for? Keep on scrolling for the only scents to know about this season...
The Best Euro Summer Perfumes 2026
1. Tom Ford Soleil Blanc
Best overall
Key notes: Coconut, tonka bean, pistachio, white florals, bergamot, pink pepper
Possibly my favourite summer perfume of all time, Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc oozes Euro Summer energy. The chic gold-and-white bottle perfectly reflects the scent inside, a mix of creamy coconut, head-turning white florals and fresh bergamot. Whilst the addition of tonka bean and pistachio might make you think this leans more towards a gourmand perfume, it's actually a beachy scent that reminds me of fresh blue seas and limbs slathered in suncream. I'm not talking about any beach, though. This perfume conjures up images of the most exclusive beach club in St. Tropez. In fact, I can almost hear the Hermès sandals hitting the boardwalk as I spritz it.
2. Victoria Beckham Beauty Portofino '97
Best luxury perfume
Key notes: Bergamot, black pepper, incense, amber, vetiver, patchouli
Speaking of designer labels, Victoria Beckham's Portofino '97 is easily one of the most elegant summer scents I've ever come across. In fact, I get compliments whenever I wear this. It's certainly not one for the faint-hearted, but if you like your perfume to enter the room before you do, you'll love this. It opens on an incredibly bright, citrusy note before smoky incense and amber settle on the skin for a lasting impression. It's crisp, sophisticated and head-turning, perfect for sailing down the Italian coast.
3. Jo Malone London Beach Blossom
Best fresh perfume
Key notes: Lime, coconut water, mint, tonka bean
You'd be forgiven for mistaking the notes in this Jo Malone London perfume for a beachside cocktail. Lime, coconut water, mint...it sounds delicious, right? Well, it smells that way too. A fresh, tropical delight, Beach Blossom will put you in the holiday spirit after just one spritz. It's an uplifting, refreshing blend with a base of tonka bean that lingers on the skin in a warm, creamy manner that I can't get enough of.
4. Ex Nihilo Lust in Paradise Extrait
Best niche perfume
Key notes: Blackcurrant, pink pepper, red ginger, rose absolute, jasmine sambac, cedarwood, ambrofix, musks
Ex Nihilo is one of those niche perfume brands that, once you try it, you will be hooked. One of the brand's newest scents, Lust in Paradise Extrait de Parfum, was designed to evoke the feeling of sun-soaked skin, and I'd say it does exactly that. It opens on a juicy, fruity note before spicy pink pepper and powdery rose cut through. The result is a heady, intoxicating aroma that feels warm, musky and so luxurious.
5. Zara Coconut Tropic Tides
Best affordable perfume
Key notes: Coconut, juicy fruits, vanilla, sandalwood, benzoin
If you're after a more affordable buy, you can't go wrong with a Zara perfume. Honestly, these high-street scents give some of my designer fragrances a run for their money. This summer, I'm gravitating towards Coconut Tropic Tides, a creamy mix of coconut, vanilla and sandalwood. It lingers beautifully on the skin, leaving you feeling warm and sunkissed long into the evening.
6. Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk
Best citrus perfume
Key notes: Bergamot, pink pepper, lemon, ylang ylang, coconut milk, musc, cedarwood
As you can guess from the name of this perfume, this is a true holiday scent through and through. In my opinion, the citrusy notes of bergamot and lemon give it all that Euro Summer energy, whilst coconut milk and cedarwood ground the fragrance in a warm, creamy aroma. I love wearing it on holiday as when I spritz it back home, it immediately transports me to sunnier times.
7. Kilian Paris Sunkissed Goddess
Best warm perfume
Key notes: Bergamot, neroli, ylang-ylang, coconut, vanilla
You know when you go to a beach club, and the smell of expensive suncreams lingers in the air? Well, that's exactly what this Kilian scent smells like. The blend of neroli, ylang-ylang and coconut gives it a warm, creamy, sun-soaked aroma that immediately transports you to a five-star resort. I have reached for this every summer since getting my hands on it, and that won't be changing anytime soon.
8. Loewe Aire Sutileza Elixir
Best elixir
Key notes: Cassis, bergamot, lemon, pear, jasmine sambac, peony, vetiver, sandalwood, musk
This perfume is the olfactory equivalent of that first dunk into sparkling blue waters. It's fresh and airy with a sparkling citrus undertone that makes you want to spritz it again and again. In true Loewe style, it's an utterly chic aroma that will take your Euro Summer to whole new heights.
