How are we choosing footwear for wide leg pants?

I love wide leg pants. The sillouette is so flattering (IMO). The issue I'm having is my teensy feet are getting swallowed up under the fabric and look either nonexistant or just not right...

I wear a pointed toe boots/flats to get them to peek out but realistically I'd like to have other options.

Anyone else find it hard to balance the look? Tiny feet girlies, what are we doing?
