what occasions would call for this dress?

i ordered this dress a wee bit drunk after a night out and promptly forgot about it because the shipment got delayed. it arrived recently, and i am actually OBSESSED with it, but i cannot for the life of me remember the vision drunk me had for this purchase 💀 what are some occasions/destinations where this dress would be appropriate? tia!!
