Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy Intercepts & Detains 4 Ships In Strait Of Hormuz

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed to have intercepted and detained 4 ships in the Strait of Hormuz for violating passage rules, according to Iranian state broadcaster IRIB.
The IRGC said the vessels were intercepted using missiles and drones.
According to reports, two oil tankers were also destroyed after which they caught fire while they were trying to cross what the IRGC called the mined part of the Strait.
The organisation said that U.S. Intelligence Services deceived the tankers and were attempting to transit through the mined route in the southern part of the waterway.
The IRGC has advised ship owners not to heed U.S. warnings and official announcements regarding the waterway.
Iran also reiterated that the Strait of Hormuz is completely closed and warned that until the U.S stops its attacks on the Islamic Republic, no chemicals, fertilisers, oil or gas would be exported from the region using the waterway.
The IRGC confirmed it launched strikes targeting a U.S. naval fuel-support pier at Al Ahmadi Port in Kuwait.
They also targeted neighbouring U.S. communications and airbase infrastructure in Kuwait and Bahrain.
Iran has confirmed U.S attacks on its power network on Friday, when its Energy Ministry asked people in the southern provinces, which are undergoing a heat wave, to reduce their energy consumption.
The Ministry did not clarify what had been hit or the extent of the damage. Authorities have said that 46 people have lost their lives and 400 have been injured in the latest U.S attacks.
8 people have been killed after a bridge was struck by U.S missiles.
On Saturday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that countries hosting US forces should be “prepared to receive a corresponding response”.
