First time dressing this style, short or high socks?

Envisioned this outfit in my mind and it looks so cute together, just don’t know whether the high or low socks complete the look the best.

Any other advice is also appreciated since this is my first time making a look in this style. :) Thanks!

EDIT: thanks everyone! might’ve over done it with the socks, i wanted to match the white and the frill so hence the lace socks.
