Not Beige, Not Black—the Jacket-Color Trend Everyone Will Be Wearing by October

For example, Dua Lipa just stepped out in a fall-friendly outfit utilizing the perfect jacket—with a twist. Her main layer wasn't black or brown, colors often associated with fall and winter. Instead, it was a bold, head-turning hue: bright red.

Dua Lipa wore a pair of baggy jeans tucked into her black Ann Demeulemeester boots and layered a red jacket by Polo Ralph Lauren over a white button-down. She accessorized with a matching red bandana, black sunglasses, and an Hermès Birkin bag. This look is the perfect example of a colorful fall outfit that isn't cheesy.
