I Can't Stop Telling My Friends About the Best New Beauty Products From July

It’s like July grew wings and flew away because somehow, we have arrived at the end of the month. While this does, sadly (or thankfully, for some of us), mean that summer is coming to an end, it also means we have quite a few new beauty launches to talk about.
July saw the release of one of my favorite brow products ever, which is a bold claim, considering I’ve been obsessed with makeup for well over 15 years now. Still, I fully stand by it because this product is simply one of the easiest-to-use and well-executed beauty products I have ever used. On the fragrance side of things, one of my favorite influencers, Funmi Monet, launched her highly anticipated brand, Influxious, to rave reviews and an almost instant sell-out of inventory. Thankfully, my favorite from the line is still in stock on the brand’s website, so more on that to come. Westman Atelier makes one of the best luxury highlighters on the market, and a recent addition to the line reminded me once more why I’m so obsessed with the formula.
Apparently, I can go on and on about all of the best new launches of July, but I’ve gone ahead and curated a list of only my favorites that neither the Marie Claire beauty team nor I can stop talking about. Whether you’re on the hunt for some new makeup favorites or believe that smelling good is a lifestyle (hard agree), keep reading for the products worth adding to your shopping cart and late-summer beauty routines.

Kristie Streicher, the genius that you are. The brow guru released the Backcombing Texture Stick, a pencil that provides texture, light hold, and a hint of color to the brows. It’s the perfect product for anyone who’s constantly running around town and needs their brows to behave because you don’t even need a mirror to apply it. Plus, it also has a spoolie to easily disperse the product for an all-in-one brow-on-the-go moment. Marie Claire Beauty Director Hannah Baxter is just as obsessed as I am, too.

Westman Atelier’s Super Loaded Tinted Highlighters are one of the best I’ve ever tried, and the brand added a new shade, Peau de Parla, to the line. Described as an oyster pearl, the champagne hue adds the perfect hint of radiance to the skin, and it’s like a shortcut to that covetable supermodel glass skin.

This foundation balm is perfect for mature, dry skin, as well as for anyone who loves a glow. Thanks to an ingredient list that boasts 80 percent skincare, the balm wears comfortably throughout the day and mixes beautifully with the skin’s natural oils as the day goes on. Plus, there is a matching line of blush-highlighter hybrid shades that feature the same formula, delivering a pop of color that blends seamlessly with your new foundation.

Tinted sunscreen should always be in your beauty rotation, and Beauty of Joseon just made your search for your next favorite formula infinitely easier. Take it from Jenny Hollander, MC’s Digital Director, who says that the K-beauty formula “is the perfect everyday base: it goes on smoothly and fluidly (no dry patches here), mixes well with foundation or moisturizer, and supplies a dewy, buildable color.”

Not only is the packaging of this lip balm next-level chic, but the product itself is extremely nourishing on the lips. The formula can be used as a traditional balm, a lip mask, as a base before applying lipstick, or on top for a satin-looking sheen. Beauty Editor Siena Gagliano absolutely loves this compact, noting that "it's one of the most luxurious and chic beauty accessories," and she just loves pulling it out of her bag to show it off. "I get endless compliments and questions!"

Victoria Beckham Beauty released its beloved Posh Balm in a new shade, Soleil, and it feels like summer in a tube. The shimmery bronze shade provides a sheer wash of color on the lips, and the emollient formula is buildable, hydrating, and perfect for easy, on-the-go use.

I’m already a big fan of quite a few Byredo fragrances, but Future Memories may have knocked all of my previous favorites out of the water. Some of my favorite notes are included in this formula (see: iris butter, ambrofix, musk, and vanilla), and the result is a scent that is somehow nostalgic while being equal parts boundary-pushing and even a little trendy. Quentin Bisch (the nose behind the scent) has done it again.

Influencer, content creator, and now brand founder, Funmi Monet recently revealed her perfume line called Influxious, and I am actually blown away by how intricate yet cohesive this collection is. Nigerian ginger and shea butter are only a few of the stunning notes that you’ll find throughout this collection of four scents; however, if I had to choose a favorite perfume, it would be High Life, a fruity floral that genuinely took my breath away. Anything Monet touches tends to sell out, so I highly recommend getting your hands on these while you can.

Nue Co. is a brand that uses what it calls “neuroscent technology” to influence your emotional state. I’m a massive fan of the brand’s pheromone fragrance, so of course, the release of “Good Spirits,” which is meant to support joy, caught my eye. Passionfruit, coconut, jasmine, moss, and more create a scent that feels like a one-way ticket to the tropics. I don’t know about you, but there’s nothing more joyful than that (besides actually being in the tropics, but I’ll take it).

I’m so obsessed with Josie Maran’s body butters that I had to ban myself from using them for a while so that I could test other products for work. That being said, the brand has added a new scent to the line called …In Bed, and it’s a delicious combination of vanilla milk, musk, apricot, and more. It’s safe to say that I’ve gone right back to obsessively using this formula and honestly? I’ll be keeping it in my body rotation until every last drop is gone.

The entire beauty team is obsessed with Sofie Pavitt, so of course, we were all over the Studio-Smooth Microdermabrasion when it launched. The physical and chemical exfoliating facial scrub is fantastic for sloughing off dead skin and debris, and, thanks to its dual-exfoliating properties, it's suitable for all skin types.

The Recovery Treatment Essence is the latest addition to Estée Lauder’s beloved Advanced Night Repair line (another collection Beauty Director Hannah Baxter is obsessed with). The hydration-packed formula includes ingredients like hyaluronic acid, water, and green tea leaf extract to soothe and calm the skin while preparing it for the rest of your serums and moisturizers.

Caffeine and PDRN? Immediately yes. Anua’s Caffeine Rejuvenating Eye Cream not only moisturizes the undereye area but also helps brighten the area with regular use. PDRN helps to boost hydration for an overall revitalized undereye that is perfectly prepped for makeup application.

Not only does this bond-building treatment fortify your hair strands to fight against split ends, breakage, and damage, but it also boasts Oribe’s signature Côte d’Azur scent, a woody floral scent that feels like the epitome of summer. So not only will your hair be repaired from the inside out, but it will also smell incredible. A win-win if you ask me.
