TTArtisan 50mm f1.8 Neo Review: The Real Cost of Cheap Lenses

When the TTArtisan 50mm f1.8 Neo was announced in early July, we stated that it looks like an older Canon nifty 50 lens. But that, I specifically mean the one for DSLRs that I reviewed back in 2011; but in some ways, it reminds me of the one that I also reviewed in 2015. You could even make a few comparison's to Canon latest nifty 50 as well. I know that I speak for a lot of modern photographers when I state that I love the fact that the Chinese companies create these modern interpretations of all the older lenses as an ode of affinity to the things that many of us all loved. But then, the reality of the world's economy creeps into the design. That's when you start to realize that something is a bit off.
