Sirui 35mm f1.4 Aurora Review: Japanese Quality for 1/4 of the Price

The other day when taking the Sirui 35mm f1.4 Aurora out for a photowalk with a new friend, he asked me what made it special and unique vs every other 35mm f1.4 lens out there. And that question has been in my head for the entire time that it's been mounted to my Leica SL2s. This camera, more than my Panasonic S1R II, is the perfect one to test it on since you can't incorporate Leica looks into the camera by default. If you really had to ask me, and you put all pricing aside, then I wouldn't be able to tell you a whole lot. That doesn't mean it's a bad lens -- in fact, it's quite incredible.
