What is this pink mass that develops on the tank walls?
 | I work at a hatchery raising oysters and clams. We’ve been noticing these pink patches on the sides of the tanks when we clean them. Does anyone know what this is? More info: We pump saltwater in from the harbor and use it in the tanks. We’re within NYS DEC zone 1. [link] [comments] |
