I'm a Jewelry Designer in L.A.—This Is My Citizens of Humanity Capsule Wardrobe

LA-based jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer has collaborated on a six-piece capsule with Citizens of Humanity, inspired by her California style. Designed to be mixed and matched, the range includes the debut of the Jen Straight Leather Pant and an exclusive wash in the best-selling Blaine Jean, alongside a lace-trimmed satin slip dress, a cami, a flannel button-up, and a leather bomber jacket.

Meyer shared in a press release, “It was so fun to work with Marianne and the Citizens of Humanity team to design the pieces I always wish I had in my closet. When we sat down together, it was clear how much overlap there already was in our instincts. That California casual, day into night aesthetic is exactly the spirit I keep in mind when I design all of my jewelry, elevated but never trying too hard, pieces that get better with wear and pick up your own history over time. The perfect leather pant, everyday jeans, leather bomber, the flannel, that silk cami and dress; these aren’t clothes you dress around, they’re clothes you live in. I think the Jennifer Meyer x Citizens of Humanity collection accomplished that so well, and it was truly a joy to design. I know these are pieces I’ll live in and reach for every season, year after year.”
