Biters

| We've had chickens for about 6 years now, started off with Dr Whitings, beautiful smart birds, added some more and then lost most to a predator. This spring we added Plymouths, they are full grown now, off and on they've done some nibbles and down right chomps. Today I got a chomp on my leg and one went for a finger. The very first time it happened I had a knee jerk reaction and kicked it away, didn't hurt it. I've put my hand on their back, they try to bite me, I've flicked their beak and they stand up taller and puff up to move in again. I've put them in air jail. I've seen them square off with each other and that's their reaction when I react to them biting at me. Not all of them do it but at least four of them do.
