one lone chicken- need help

one lone chicken- need help
one lone chicken- need help

had some fox attacks in the night and only my rooster is left. need to know how alright he’ll be and what i can do to help. he is my baby, i treat him like a puppy and he’s a very affectionate boy. getting rid of him is absolutely not an option (he’s basically a therapy dog)

i spend time with him every single day, holding him, hand feeding him, but i know im no substitute for a flock. has anyone had lone chickens and can tell me how bad this is for him? how lonely will he be? at the moment he seems rather pleased at having more space and shows no distress at all, but perhaps i just can’t tell
