thought my last rooster was taken from me today

went downstairs to lock up my roo and he was totally gone from my garden. i frantically searched for hours before just collapsing and crying. i went as far as to break a hole in the back fence to search the overgrowth behind the house in case he’d managed to fly over or something, and i was yelling until well into the night. when i finally went back inside, having accepted he was gone, i decided to do the laundry. you’ll never guess where this bastard was sleeping
