The 135mm Lens that I Keep Dreaming Of

I'm very critical of Sigma's lenses partially because I really think that giving us an ultra-crystal clear render of the world isn't what we need in the face of generative AI. Yet at the same time, I also acknowledge when they do some really, truly remarkable things. And for the longest time (which is really only a year or so) I've reflected on my time with the Sigma 135mm f1.4 Art lens with fondness. Sure, it's huge. But I'd be damned in saying that it isn't one of my favorite 135mm lenses of all time.
