I wanna become a Marine Archeologist

Im [17] and unsure what to do with life.

I've always liked the ocean and was always facinated by it. I wanna do something in the marine field, and since i took Humanities for my 11th and 12th, i thought, sure archelogy sounds good. But now im unsure if thats the right path. I wanted to become a journalist but im scared it'll be taken up by AI.

Any Marine archaeologists with advice?
