Dear Canon: Let Third-Party Lens Makers Build for RF Already

After getting a taste of what third-party full-frame lenses would be like for the Canon RF system, I know I'm one of the few journalists who would say that Canon ruined their own metaphorical garden. In 2020, I was one of the only photographers to review the Samyang 85mm f1.4 AF for the Canon RF system. Today, that lens is a bit of a unicorn and I'm amazed that it hasn't skyrocketed in price. Shortly after it was announced, Canon sued Samyang and Rokinon into stopping production of the lens. So of anyone out there, I can say this with authority: Canon is hurting their own camera system in so many different ways. And as someone who's been in this industry for 20 years, I know that they won't change until the sales start to drop.
