Luna Piombanti won’t believe she’s in Playboy until she sees it. When asked how she feels about becoming a Playmate, she has glimpses of the girl she once was in Iran. “As an Iranian doing Playboy, if I tell you I don’t feel guilty, it’s not really honest of me,” she says. “Because you cannot live with such a government and the way they brainwash you, the way they treat you, and just say, ‘No, I survived.’”

She’s working on it, though, and says her body is her power. “I suggest to all women to just be connected to your body—that’s where you get free from the cage of your thoughts.”
