It's been known for a very long time that Canon and Sony tend to copy one another: look at Sony's adaption to Canon's lenses and Canon's adaption of Sony's camera tech. The Canon R8 II has been on everybody's minds. Over the past few months, multiple publications have reported on its alleged specs, some even speculating on who will benefit from the camera. Today, we've come across images of the Canon R8 II on Reddit, and it appears that they are quite real, unlike other AI-generated mock-ups. Interestingly, the new design reminds one of the Canon T series camera but if it had a child with Sony's device. So, is this Sony-fication of Canon, once and for all? Let's have a look.
