Need advice on hemline and overall fit

I enjoy how this dress looks in person for the most part but not happy about how it’s showing up in this lighting or photos. Ive been a size 2 forever but according to the size guide I was a size 4 so I ordered a 4. I feel like this dress is so big on me and I’m looking for what I can do to make it fit better. The corset isn’t looking like it does on the model photos. This dress is for a wedding I’m attending and it’s on the 28th so I would need to take it to get altered or perform the miracle myself. Overall I’m hopeful but currently disappointed
