How do you enjoy fashion without letting it consume your brain space?
This is pretty new to me. I never cared much about how I looked before having a baby. But after having my baby, I neglected myself for a while, and now getting dressed and putting effort into my appearance feels like a way of showing up for myself again.
I genuinely enjoy fashion now. Putting together outfits, playing with colors, dressing up, etc. I use Instagram for inspiration, but lately I feel like I'm constantly being "influenced". I'll see a trend and suddenly I'm convinced I have a huge wardrobe gap and must buy that particular trendy piece.
I have a budget and stick to it, so **it's not really about spending too much money. It's the mental space and time**. I can spend way too much time browsing Instagram, Pinterest, resale sites, etc. and thinking about clothes.
For those of you who love fashion but don't want it to become an all consuming hobby, what works for you? How do you keep the fun and creativity without constantly thinking about what you should buy?
