ICLR 2027 table font sizes [D]
I am preparing an ICLR 2027 submission using the official LaTeX style. Some main-text tables use \footnotesize, and two wide tables also use \resizebox{\linewidth}{!}{...}.
I have not modified the style file, margins, page dimensions, or global font settings.
The official instructions say not to change font sizes except perhaps in the references. However, the official style appears to define \small and \footnotesize at the same size. My main concern is that \resizebox may scale a wide table further.
For anyone familiar with ICLR formatting checks, especially current or former ACs:
Is \footnotesize inside a table acceptable?
Is using \resizebox to fit a table to the column width acceptable if the result remains clearly legible?
Could either practice realistically cause a desk rejection?
I would especially appreciate answers based on ICLR policy or direct AC/reviewer experience.
