Louis Vuitton's New Fine Jewelry Collection Is Iconic and Timeless

Louis Vuitton's latest release in fine jewelry is out today, expanding its Le Damier de Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection with eight pieces in the luxury house's signature checkerboard pattern, Damier (the French word for checkerboard), from 1888.

The collection comprises five earring styles, including large hoops in yellow, white, and rose gold and two ear cuffs; a chain bracelet; an adjustable sliding pendant necklace; and a statement set.

"Drawing on the collection's hallmark interplay of gold and diamonds, graphic design and exceptional jewelry savoir faire, the new pieces continue to transcend genders and generations, playing on the motif's sense of infinity, not to mention endless opportunities for self-styling and personal expression," the brand stated in a press release. "With these eight new creations, Le Damier de Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection now expands to over 30 different offerings, presenting a rich mélange of inspiration and self-styling options. Each piece is a testament to the house's savoir faire, innovative design, and the timeless codes of the iconic Damier pattern created over a century ago."
