Refined Closet, Quiet Confidence: Decluttering Designer Pieces with Intention

| Hi all! I've turned to you many times before and this community has been phenomenal! As an update, I have gotten rid of basically everything this community told me to get rid of. Thank you SO MUCH. I'm a recovering shopping addict and I am trying to cut down and declutter. Please help! I have too many clothes. All of these are some kind of fancy - designer, hand embroidery, all natural silks, linens, etc. I buy a lot of second hand so am very susceptible to "it's such a good deal!" mentality when buying, even if it look awful on me. Are any of these tops worth keeping? They are deliberately unstyled, all photographed in the same conditions. If it's not a HELL YEAH it's a NO. Excuse the background mess - I have several craft-y works in progress. Lifestyle considerations - I'm pretty basic. I'm 32. I work from home in my loungewear, but I do like a nice outing. I prefer lose fitting, boxy, flowy, oversized things that hide my figure, but also swing all the way to the other extreme for nighttime bars or latin dancing or date nights with my husband. What are your thoughts? What should I declutter and should I keep any? [link] [comments] |
