The Quiet Space Between Sustainability and a Style That's Truly Yours

I notice that there’s only a few brands that make clothing that can acclimatize to different styles and tastes. Some of my fav brands include Ciao Buttercup, The Cloth, Ratboi. Ciao is the one with only all organic cotton , and for o.c, they make really pretty pieces. Still, id say my style varies and pulls apart from just “feminine, soft, dreamy, pointelly” pieces; they’re absolutely adorable, but I have other styles too. I like to wear flowy graphic tees, cropped too—for example. And I’ve probably never seen I’m that from most organic cotton shops there are today. Some other brands that align with my view of ethics still use polyester in some pieces, which I don’t support. One example would Oddli. I like their style. The rest of organic cotton clothing is literally either plain comfy basics(which, is to love of course) or trad woman or man clothing. In my personal opinion, it’s boring or too confined to that genre. If you want different styles and other selections to check off, regular cotton is just your best bet. I’d probably also add in price points which make me question more, I get organic cotton itself is costly—for the right reasons—but umm…. As for Tencel, it’s certainly more rare. You have brands like Huha who run it as their base fabric—but they are a lounge and underwear company. Ratboi uses Tencel for a small bit of clothing, some of their tops. At the end of the day however, attainable and feasibly designed styles are still extremely rare to find for the general public in search of this.
